I also wanted to say thanks for all the great comments you guys left me on the last alpha I posted, thanks ever so much!!

Now here is the last alpha I made, it contains upper case, lower case, numbers and some symbols, I also posted a matching set of buttons, with some word buttons and a number of date buttons as well. Hope you guys enjoy them!

Off to bed I go, goodnight guys!!

Rain!

We had a couple of beautiful days, but today it is raining. The boys are off school, but running around the house pretending to be superhero's.

I had never entered a quick page challenge, so today was a first. They have a twice monthly Scrap 'n Swap challenge over at DigitalFreebies. And this time they were using the Ooh what a mess! Page Kit by Amy Blesser. It's half prize for the challenge!!

I love making the QP so I ended up making 2............... here is what I came up with.......

Beautiful Day to Sleep

It is a great day today, the sun is out...... but yet the boys were tired and have both fallen asleep.

Quiet in the house means scrap-time for me. So..... since I found a challenge on http://www.digiscrap.nl/, I figured I'd go make a page using one of the kits that I hadn't tried yet from Catscrap.

The theme to scrap by was water, since I didn't have any suitable pictures available I figured I'd get by with my boys and me on a boat! Madame Mim's and Milla Designs - Enchanted Forest Kit, I absolutely love it. It comes with the gorgeous papers and stunning elements.

Here is what I came up with.......

New layout!

A couple of days ago I ended up on the page of Catscraps, they have some of the most amazing materials, so I couldn't resist and buy some of their kits. I didn't get much chance to make any scrap pages lately, but I figured I'd post a layout that I just made for the Friday Freebie Challenge on DigitalFreebies.com, using one of Catscraps kits.

Happy Scrappin'

It is monday morning, the boys are in school..... so figured I'd go and write a little blog.

Should actually be doing some cleaning around the house since I have been away to Rome all of last week, so the house could do with some..... but hey!!

So yeah.... I have been to Rome last week with my mum and I absolutely loved it. I have been to London and Paris before, but Rome for me was so much better. We had a total of 3,5 days to do what we wanted to do and boy that proved to be suchs a short amount of time for a city trip to Rome. There is so much to see. It almost seems to be like this huge open air museum where there is something to see around every corner. Vatican City alone took up a day all by itself and then you haven't seen it all. It is amazingly beautiful.

Then off course you have to go see the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps, the Trevi Fountain and the list goes on and on.

I think it is needles to say........but yes I did toss a coin into the Trevi Fountain hoping to one day go back and see some more of this gorgeous city.

So then you come home and what are you left with?

Exactly...... loads of pictures to scrap with. I have decided to make an A5 photobook of the trip, which will have 40 pages. I thought it might be a nice gift to my mum. I have been working on it somewhat in the evenings the past weekend and I have about half of it finished. So hopefully I will be able to order it by the end of the week.

I have been trying out a new technique to get organized easier with all the pages I am making for this new photobook. I made a template with 40 spaces and every time I have finished a page I stick a little preview image of it on the spot I have in mind for it. It seems to be working quite well for me. Maybe an idea.

I have been trying my hand at alpha making and enjoyed it loads. Here is what I came up with for my first ever alpha.

Please leave me a comment though and let me know what you think, so that I know if there is any point in doing any more.
