Holiday!!

Today I helped out at my boys school with the games morning. It was their last day, or more like last morning in school. So we got to play lots of fun games and eat sweets and icecream. They will be off school now for 6 weeks. Earlier I gave them the chance to come up with some fun things they want to do, let's see what they come up with.

Here are a couple of layouts I made with the fantastic new Showtime kit by Akiloune. I thought I'd share them with you. Be sure to check out her new kit. It's full of lovely goodies.

More great news!!

Back with some more FANTASTIC news!!!

Last saturday I got the news that I had been accepted as one of the new designer at this fabulous new store which is setting up. It is still in the works, but it is going to be great!!

I had some great news yesterday which I am going to keep to myself just a littlebit longer untill I got it all setup properly, but I can tell you this.......

I have been a fan of Akiloune's work since I started digital scrapbooking. So when I read her CT Call on her blog I just had to take a chance and apply.

Today I received an e-mail confirming I had been accepted to become a member of her CT and I am over the moon!!!

I also would like to congratulate the other ladies that made it!!!

Classic Alpha

Goodmorning everyone. It is a gorgeous morning dispite the Netherlands losing their game against Russia yesterday in the EURO2008. A lot of people will be busy today taking all their decorations down. Ryan did take it a bit hard though last night. He is my oldest. After the game was finished I asked him what was wrong. He said "nothing" whilst he looked at me with his watery eyes.

But that football also has been good for something. While they were all watching the game I got the chance to finish an alpha. It contains lower case, upper case, numbers, symbols and words. I am posting the download link for the lower case alpha below. If you like them be sure to check back tomorrow for the upper case.

Fun Challenge

I just came accross this amazingly fun challenge on Catscrap and just had to have a go at this one.

There is a layout that has been made for the challenge and there is only 10 questions aloud to asked. With the given answers you have to try and get as close to the original layout as possible.

Challenge at Digiscrap

Over at http://www.digiscrap.nl/ Helma has just posted her latest middle of the month challenge.

The challenge was to create a layout to do with Euro 2008 which is being played at the moment. And if I may add we are doing very well in!!! You were only aloud to use orange and the colours of the dutch flag, being red, white and blue.

So since my boys love football I figured I'd give it a go...........

Holland is doing very well in the European Cup, until now. Last night they had to play France and ended up with the fantastic score of 4-1. Which is brilliant after they beat Italy 3-0 a couple days ago. The whole country went mad and you could hear them party and setting off fireworks until deep in the night.

My boys are really starting to get into it and yesterday the mailman delivered their new football tops. Of course they had to be shown off.

Quiet Time

Boys are in school, so am having some "quiet time". So I made a little quick template, but can make for nice results. I posted the download link below and made a little example to go with it. Enjoy!!

Little Walking Tiger

About 3 months ago Ryan my oldest been starting to go to Kempo and he really enjoyed it sofar. The other night he came home after and was all proud cause he got taught the walk of the tiger.

He was so excited he had to show me right away. I managed to quickly film it with my photocamera, so quality isn't to good, but still nice for Ryan to see back once he really gets into his Kempo and gets better at it.

Oh yeah and before I forget to mention, I managed to get my photoalbum finished that I was making for my mums birthday later this month. It is an album with pictures we took on our trip to Rome last april. It ended up being a 41 pager, I ordered 2 copies. One at http://www.albumprinter.nl/ and the second at http://www.shutterfly.com/. Since I wanted one for myself, I ordered them at two different places, gives me a good idea of differences in quality. I'll try and post some pictures of the finished products once they come in.
